Angrezi Medium: Radhika Madan's Latest Post Confirms Kareena Kapoor Khan Is Irrfan's Leading Lady

Angrezi Medium: Radhika Madan's Latest Post Confirms Kareena Kapoor Khan Is Irrfan's Leading Lady
A few weeks back, it was reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan has come on board Angrezi Medium, starring Irrfan Khan and that she will play a cop in the film. However, till Saturday, producer Dinesh Vijan did not confirm the name of the actress, instead just said that apart from Radhika Madan, who plays Irrfan's daughter, they are still in talks with another leading lady. 

And now, Radhika has almost confirmed that Kareena is indeed the one. Her latest post has a hashtag with Kareena Kapoor Khan's name, thereby hinting that Bebo is, after all, a part of the project. We also hear that Kareena gave a go ahead to the project over the weekend. The producers of the film were in talks with her for a while but Kareena was taking her time to make up her mind as the actress is extremely choosy with the projects she does. However, with Radhika's post, it's now confirmed that she has indeed decided to do the film. 

As the Pataakha actress started shooting for the film yesterday, she posted  a picture of clapboard on social media and accidentally revealed the name of the leading lady in her caption. An elated Radhika wrote, “As excited as the man behind!So so so grateful for this new journey. @irrfan @homster @maddockfilms #kareenakapoorkhan #dineshvijan”


Meanwhile, a few minutes back, Irrfan took to social media to introduce his character to fans. The actor, who was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine tumour, in March last year, will play Mr Champakji, who owns a 100-year-old sweet shop. Reportedly, Team Angerzi Medium will be shooting in Rajasthan till end of the month after which they will move to London as Irrfan’s daughter will be shown to have aspirations of studying in the West. Coming to the latest development, after Radhika's hashtag hint, we await Bebo to make an official announcement.
